Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-02-20
We collect only the information needed to operate the Whicha platform: account details you provide (like username, display name, and optional profile picture), poll content you create, votes you cast, and limited technical data (device type, app version) used for security and improving performance. We do not sell your personal data.
Data You Provide
You share poll questions, options, comments, and basic profile data. Avoid sharing anything sensitive or private. Public poll content is visible to other users.
Usage & Analytics
We may aggregate anonymized usage patterns (e.g. number of polls created, votes per day) to improve reliability, detect abuse, and guide feature development.
Security
Access tokens are short-lived; refresh tokens rotate and may be revoked upon suspicious activity. Never share your credentials. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us.
Retention & Deletion
You may delete polls you own. Removing your account (feature forthcoming) will queue your personal data for deletion except where we must retain minimal records for legal or security reasons.
Third Parties
We rely on infrastructure providers (hosting, storage, logging). They act as processors and do not have permission to market to you using your data.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13. If we learn we collected such data, we will delete it.
Child Safety (CSAE/CSAM)
Whicha, published by The Flaggship Group LLC, has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We prohibit any content or behavior that involves, depicts, promotes, facilitates, or seeks CSAE/CSAM. If you encounter suspected CSAE/CSAM, report it in-app (where available) and email support@whicha.app.

Community Safety Reminder
Any question or poll that encourages, glorifies, or could result in harm to yourself or any other living being is strictly prohibited. Do not solicit self-harm, violence, or abuse. We reserve the right to remove such content and take action on accounts involved.
