Whicha Child Safety Standards

Whicha has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We prohibit any content or behavior that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors.
What is prohibited
The following are strictly prohibited on Whicha, including attempts to facilitate or normalize them:
- CSAM: creating, sharing, uploading, storing, viewing, requesting, or distributing child sexual abuse material.
- CSAE: any sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor, including exploitation for profit or coercion.
- Grooming: befriending, manipulating, or coercing a minor for sexual purposes.
- Sexual solicitation of minors: requesting sexual content, sexual conversation, or sexual contact with a minor.
- Sexualization of minors: content that depicts, describes, or encourages sexual activity involving minors, or presents minors in a sexual context.
- Exploitation or trafficking: facilitation, promotion, recruitment, or coordination of sexual exploitation or trafficking of minors.
- Evasion & coordination: attempts to move conversations off-platform for the purpose of exploiting minors or sharing CSAM.
Enforcement
We may take action immediately when we detect or receive reports of CSAE/CSAM-related content or behavior. Actions may include:
- Removing content and disabling access to violating material.
- Restricting features, placing accounts under review, or issuing warnings.
- Suspending or permanently banning accounts associated with violations.
- Preserving relevant information and evidence where appropriate to support safety and legal obligations.
- Reporting to authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or law enforcement, where appropriate and legally required.
How to report
If you see content or behavior that may involve CSAE/CSAM, report it immediately by emailing support@whicha.app. Include any relevant details (usernames, links, screenshots, and timestamps) if safe to do so.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services right away.
